Construction

Retro is made from Italian aniline cowhide, coloured through with aniline dyes and enriched with waxes. Its warm, supple hand carries natural grain variation from hide to hide. With wear, the surface may develop gentle cracking and tonal change, giving the strap a relaxed, rustic character that feels increasingly personal.

Style: Dome.
Thickness: approximately 4.5mm tapering to 2.5mm.
Tip: Almond.
Construction: Monves double-up design.
Edges: Clean-cut edges with painted finishing.

Sizing & Fit

The first number is your watch lug width. The second number is the buckle width. For example, 20x16mm fits a 20mm lug width and tapers to a 16mm buckle.

Aniline dyes and waxes bring depth to the leather while allowing the grain to remain visible. Because the hide is dyed through, the colour has a richer, more grounded appearance. With wear, the surface may develop gentle cracking, tonal change and other signs of use that become part of its rustic character.

The fuller domed profile gives Retro more presence at the case, while the almond tip and tapered shape keep the overall line balanced. It is a natural pairing for vintage, field, dress and everyday watches when the goal is a warm, relaxed strap that becomes more personal over time.

Care & Patina

Aniline leather is made to show character, but it still benefits from simple care. Keep Retro away from soaking and prolonged moisture, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and allow it to dry naturally. Avoid solvents, abrasive cleaners and forceful folding. Tonal shifts and light surface cracking may develop with wear.
